Choreography 

"I always walk into my creative process with a new approach. As a choreographer, I value open-mindedness within myself and the bodies I work within a space. I also value the dance artists I work with as individuals and utilize their personal skills, artistry, and collaboration when constructing a work. I do not believe in hierarchy when it comes to being a choreographer, rather I see myself as mutual with my dance artists. Improvisation is something that I use as a way to pour out ideas and perceive individuals. Typically, my works describe a cycle of spontaneity, personification, and focal intensity. I use spontaneity to enhance not only my creativity tangibly but how I approach my process. Ideas for me are always trial and error so I never feel the need to come in with a perfect plan. All of these complexities of how the choices I make are woven together like a composite loom. It is how I find stability and when I spiral into new things to help us create those balances for our spontaneous culture."
